This Gala is held every
November and is for swimmers in Dolphins, D and C Squads only. Current and ex
Development, A and B squad
swimmers are not allowed to enter. All the events are 25m. (1 length)
duration and are split into the following ages; 8/under, 9 and 10, and 11/
over.
The top
three swimmers in the
Back, Breast and Frontcrawl strokes are awarded medals
irrespective of whether the swimmer is in Dolphins, D or C Squad
Points are awarded for the
top three positions and these points are totalled to give the top girl and
boy swimmer in the three ages. These swimmers receive a trophy that is
held for one year and returned.
