Barrow Amateur Swimming Club

Extra-ordinary General Meeting 

Time 7.30pm, 15th July 2009, venue To Be Advised

The committee of Barrow ASC has decided to call an Extra-ordinary General Meeting of the clubs membership at 7.30pm on  the 15th July 2009, at (venue to be advised). The meeting is to address two issues;

1. To elect new committee members to replace some recent resignations from the committee and the intended resignations of some other committee members.

2. To discuss the future direction of the club. This is required because the club is at a critical point in its development and there are significantly different opinions as to the direction and pace of change. 

THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT MEETING FOR THE FUTURE OF THE CLUB, AND IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT ALL ADULT MEMBERS (ADULT MEMBERS ARE THOSE WHO ARE OVER 18 YEARS OF AGE AND EITHER REGISTERED AS INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS OR ARE NAMED ON FAMILY REGISTRATIONS), ATTEND AND HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO UNDERSTAND THE ISSUES AND HAVE THEIR SAY.
