Club Train

Criteria:Club Train shall include all members of any age who are learning to swim or who are swimmers at any level, who do not compete in any discipline in open competition, other than those exempted under Law 321.1.2 and those competitions designated as “Low Level Competition.” (Please see below for definitions of low-level competitions)

Club Compete

Criteria:Club Compete shall include all members of any age who compete in any discipline in open competitions, other than those exempted under Law 321.1.2 and those competitions designated as “Low Level Competition.” (Please see below for definitions of low-level competitions)

Club Support

Criteria:Club Support shall include all members of any age who are not in categories Club Train or Club Compete including all club volunteers, coaches and teachers.

Swimming

1) Club Train members may take part in the following events: a) Club events providing that the competitors are all members of the club promoting the event.

2) Leagues providing that: a) The league is a local league e.g. within a County or local area and which does not finish with a National final.

Participants in any National League must be fully paid up Club Compete members.

3) Inter-club competitions providing that:
a) The participating clubs are invited to compete.
b) The total number of participating clubs shall not exceed the number of lanes available at the pool in which the competition is taking place.
c) The event is a one-off gala.

To compete in all other Swim England and British Swimming events, any division of a league which finishes with a National final, open meets, County, District/Regional events, and National events, members must be fully paid up Club Compete members.
